CRAZY LIXX
About the band
CRAZY LIXX is a Swedish heavy metal / hair metal / hard rock band. Known for energetic live shows, catchy choruses and an uncompromising revival of the late-'80s glam metal sound, they have become the flagship of the new wave of Swedish sleaze metal. Drawing inspiration from Def Leppard, Mötley Crüe, Alice Cooper, Ratt, Skid Row and Guns N' Roses, they blend melodic hard rock with modern production and a feel for '80s and '90s nostalgia.
The band is led by founder and frontman Danny Rexon, whose vocals, songwriting and production skills are the driving force of the group. The line-up is completed by bassist and creative partner Jens Anderson, guitarists Jens Lundgren and Chrisse Olsson, and the newest member, drummer Robin Nilsson.
In February 2025 CRAZY LIXX released the album Thrill of the Bite, the follow-up to the successful Street Lethal. Packed with anthemic songs, memorable riffs and electrifying guitar solos, it shows a turn towards a heavier, riff-driven style while keeping their trademark melodic choruses and glam attitude — something the audience at Sweden Rock Festival has already appreciated.
